This a poem written by Harry's grandchildren in reverence to their dearly departed Grand Father.

Grandad how much we will miss you.
With family and friends always entertained, you made us smile to the final days.
I never said how much I loved you, but I do hope I showed it.
From stories of the RAF to stories of the ring, we will never forget the stories.
Everyone is mourning the loss of such a gentleman.
You always stood when we entered the room and you always stood when we left the room.
At least now my wonderful Grandad you can rest easy and look down upon us all.
You stood strong when the power of nature was chipping away.
Yet I was amazed at your strength although not surprised at how you just got on with living.
The pain you went through was there for all to see.
I have cried myself to sleep on many nights since you left us Grandad.
The boys can see the sadness in me but thanks to you, they are strong.
You will leave behind a family united and a family who will never forget.
The club in the heavens welcomes you Grandad.
We will always love you.

Your loving  Grand Children
