I recently found this website. The happy memories of the golden days of saturday afternoon watching "World of Sport" with my late Father. Our heroes, the Stars of the ring are sadly missed but never forgotten!! Too many names to mention in a short comment, Bridges, Roach, Kellet, McManus, Big Daddy, Haystacks, Jones, Rocco, Saint, Royal & Faulkner, Conneely on and on......... Sadly too many of those names on the list of deceased!! Kent Walton, Max Ward brought hours of entertainment and deep enjoyment. I will never forget the hours I sat with my Dad and loved watching the British Professional Wrestlers!! We used to go to King Georges Hall, Blackburn Lancashire to watch our heroes. I remember the first time we saw Jack Pye, Dominic Pye, such happy memories!! How I would love to attend a reunion!!

Completely stunned at the news about Dave Bond. A mainstay of the Dale Martin shows, knew how to rouse the crowd, saw some great bouts with him at Walthamstow and the Albert Hall. Same age as the guy, a great athlete and brilliant "villian". Deepest sympathy to his family and special mention to Johnny Kincaid who was a long-time friend. RIP Dave - and many many thanks for all the great bouts.

Thank you for your tribute. Funeral details on news page. Frank

Deepest sympathy to Mark and his family on the sad news of the death of his father "Jumping" Jim Hussey.

Jim was one of my favourite wrestlers as a child, and seeing him live certainly put the fear of god into us schoolkids on the front row!

RIP Jimmy and thanks for the memories.

Paul Lincoln-Bramble says...
Hello, I live in Sydney Australia & was adopted out as a child & was taken away from my parents for some 12yrs. My fathers name is John. A. Lincoln (dec March 2011) age 83yrs & his brother; my uncle was Paul Lincoln (Dr Death). I have been doing a family tree of the Lincolns and was very proud and honoured to have such a lengend in the family. I was fortunate to meet him twice (age 9 & 18) and I am now 47. Late last year, after tracking down my father, he mentioned a re-union and told about Uncle Paul. I was again very heart-broken to find another family member deceased & would like to find out when, where & how he passed away. Could you try find me any details;re career or family contacts as I would like to come over to england & pay my respects etc & find out more about the Lincoln Family. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Yours Truly Paul Lincoln-Bramble.

Paul's life and death was well documented in the articles page on this site, but if you care to email me at frank.rimer@yahoo.com then I shall pass your details to Paul's widow in Portsmouth. Frank
