After Spending a nice couple of hours at  The Bridges Pub in Kent owned by Sarah & Wayne Bridges,

I have been asked about others, Well many wrestlers owned Pub's and still do, and enjoy it when people from Wrestling drop in

although that stops work for a while.

The Strangest thing happend to me one day in Stockport, I was doing one of my 007 Roadshows we were opening a new Comet store, as these tend to be long day's, I am always looking for distraction.

So I decided to go for a meal and of corse a drink, I was walking down this long road when I saw one off the large chain pub's in the distance , but for some reason I stopped dead half way along the Road. looking to my right I saw this small pub

I thought I wil just nip in here. as I went to buy my drink I looked across and there was a picture of myself in the middle of lot's of Pictures of Wrestlers, I asked the Barmaid about the Pictures,  the lady did not know as she had just started, but  thought the owner used to be a Wrestler  I asked if he was in the reply was no he will be out for the rest of the Day.

So I sat down to enjoy my drink when in came Steve Haggerty the owner. we talked about wrestling for a couple of hours

And he asked me to stay for the evening, as all the wrestlers from the World of Sport era used to come in on the Saturday night,

I told him I had to get back up North for another show. but it was a great afternoon.

If anyone has any Stories please post on the Reunion site and share with friends.
