British Wrestlers Reunion

Well it is that time of year again the Hoppings another busy time for me

with the Fair and the Pitmans Derby at Newcastle Racecourse  this is our busiest week of the Year

When I see the Fair set up it brings back many memories of Ron Taylors Boxing and Wrestling Booth

Ron always had time to talk about Wrestling when he was setting up, he would always ask if there were any local shows

as he used to love to go and see them

When I first went on the Booth at Newcastle there were two but I only ever worked for Ron Taylor.

Many great Boxers and Wrestlers worked for Ron over the Many years

As I have said before I learnt so much from the Booths from many wrestling friends

When it was Hot it was that dusty you could not see, and when it was cold and wet it was Murder

I sit here and watch the rides going up it only takes hours now in the old days it took days

I look over to were the Booth stood always in the same place at the Northend of the Moor

and I still see the faces of all the friends who worked there and the faithfull crowd who came every year
