British Wrestlers Reunion

The funeral is  taking place today of that great Superheavyweight amateur wrestler Dennis Mcnamara.A remarkable big man amngst the amateurs Dennis Held the British title six times between 1962 and 1972,won three Commonwealth Games Bronze medals European Police Championships in 1968 and 1972.In the 1964 Tokyo Olympics he pinned the Japanese champion,at that time the only holder of a 7th.Dan Judo black belt,in front of the Emperor.
